UiPath Automation Awards CEE is a competition whose goal is to support the best teams in the region of Central and Eastern Europe creating B2B software for robotization of business processes. For the first time in the startup category the Polish project won:, a solution by 2040 sp.z o.o. a part of YouNick Mint portfolio.

“We chose as the winner of the startup category because they solve the real automation problem associated with sales people, with a mix of technologies and a deep understanding of the sales process. They use an interesting combination of technologies and are very focused. ” said Vargha Moayed, director of strategy at UiPath.

In the first edition of the competition there were over 100 entries, and the competing teams came from 12 countries.
Six companies (including two from Poland) reached the finals:

Category Automation Start-up

Bulletproof AI (Czech Republic) – Safety in machine learning; (Poland) – AI driven assistant for sales representatives;
Nifty Learning (Romania) – operational interview on training;

Category Automation Scale-up

Aggero (Romania) – audience analysis based on artificial intelligence and intelligence of people influencing games;
Applica AI (Poland) – software based on artificial intelligence that automates the control and understanding of unstructured text in enterprises
Smartdreamers (Romania) – Software for automating recruitment marketing for companies;

The jury, which included representatives of UiPath and Google as well as Credo Ventures and Seedcamp funds, evaluated applications based on several criteria. These included: the founders’ passion and vision, the value of their technology proposal, the potential to respond to customer demand, and the size of the market for their product.
